Definitely a hotel with the WOW factor!!
From the moment you arrive, Belfiore Park Hotel, the only 4*Superior hotel in Brenzone just a short distance south of Malcesine, recently renovated to a very high standard and situated right by the lake side, will make you feel at ease. From every part of the hotel, whether you are on the terrace, lying round the pool, on the beach or on the new sun loungers in some of the more secluded parts of the garden full of olive trees, roses and bougainville, you will have fantastic views onto the lake and the dramatic cliffs opposite with sheer drops to the lake side. The hotel has a bar and lounge leading onto the terrace and a superb dining room with lake view including several tables out on the terrace for 'al fresco' dining. Almost the whole of the ground floor at beach level is taken up by the Dhara Wellness Centre, definitely to be recommended for a day of pampering.
The hotel prices are for bed & breakfast; a fantastic breakfast buffet with pretty well everything you can imagine is served up to 11 o'clock. The main restaurant is open from 12.30 to 19.00 with an à la carte menu and after that a snack menu is available throughout the evening and night. If you prefer to have half board or some evenings eat later than 19.00 guests at Hotel Belfiore are more than welcome to eat at Hotel Eden.
The bedrooms are on 3 floors, all tastefully furnished with air conditioning, balcony and lake view ranging from the Junior Suite Belfiore, Junior Suite Italian Prestige - 10 rooms refurbished to a very high standard whose themes are about Italy and Italians who have written the history of the nation (eg. Luciano Pavarotti, Enzo Ferrari, Marco Polo, Giacomo Casanova) - to other Junior and full Suites in the garden area or right by the lakeside. In early and late season the part indoor/part outdoor heated pool at Hotel Eden is available for hotel guests for a small fee.

' We had never visited Lake Garda before our recent enjoyable holiday. We booked through Gilli's Holidqys because she offers to find a good coeliac friendly place to stay - and boy did she find us a lovely place! This hotel is situated right on the lakeside with a lovely outlook across the lake to the mountains. We loved the fact you could walk straight out of the hotel on the the lakeside walk and could walk so far in either direction without getting on the main road. Our room was on the 3rd floor with balcony great for quiet reading or sunbathing. We had booked B&B but ate in the restaurant every night to be sure of gluten free food at all times. The quality of the food was excellent and the breakfast superb. And the staff, so friendly and warmly welcoming and the restaurant staff work well as a team. From Malcesine right down to Torri del Benaco there is a lake side path or cycle track - which becomes a romantic lake side walk as it passes Hotel Belfiore going to either Porto di Brenzone or Magugnano with its narrow streets and almost hidden bars and shops. For those who are keen on water sports, near to the hotel are both sailing and windsurf/kite surf schools. From May to September the hotel offers accompanied excursions to discover the territory of Monte Baldo and also to visit the medioeval churches in Brenzone village. Brenzone is mid way down the eastern side of Lake Garda so using public transport – boat or bus - you can easily visit other lake side villages such as Garda, Bardolino, Sirmione, Salò at the southern end or Limone, Malcesine and Riva to the north. It is also not far to the Gardaland, Movie World and Caneva theme parks or the Sigurtà Gardens. Be sure to leave time to visit the historic cities of Verona and Venice, either on an organised excursion or using local buses and trains. For those who like browsing through Italian markets just 2kms down the road is Castelletto with a market every Tuesday.

From Verona: VERY reasonably priced transfer bus;
BY CAR turn right out of airport and then left onto dual carriageway going north. Follow green motorway signs and join A22 motorway north and exit at AFFI – Lago di Garda. Follow signs to GARDA. In Garda town turn right direction Torri del Benaco and then Brenzone. Hotel on the left hand side after Magugnano.
From Bergamo: By car; turn right out of the car hire depot, right again and then filter into the main road and follow green motorway signs and onto A4 direction Venezia. Take Peschiera exit, follow to Pesciera centre and Lazise, then Garda and up the eastern side of the lake, passing Lazise, Bardolino, Garda and Torri del Benaco. The hotel is on the left hand side on the main road just after Magugnano.
